The Gilbert Days Parade has a long tradition of being the premiere event for Gilbert Days, a longstanding multi-day tradition that has drawn thousands to the downtown area for many years. This years theme is “Red, White and Blue.” The festival began in 1957 as a small celebration of Cinco de Mayo. Later it was moved to the fall and expanded into a multi-day event. The parade is a celebration of the Town of Gilbert’s heritage and involves local businesses, non-profit organizations and schools. The rodeo is also a prominent attraction.
